Als patiënten met een verkleurd gebit een flexibele, comfortabele en gemakkelijke cosmetische bleekbehandeling nodig hebben, kiezen wij in onze tandartspraktijk altijd voor [Opalescence Go-bleekgel](https://www.ultradentproducts.nl/products/categories/whitening/cosmetic-tooth-whitening/opalescence-go). De redenen hiervoor zijn eenvoudig en spreken voor zich: de bleekgel met 6% waterstofperoxide kan direct uit de verpakking worden gebruikt. Bovendien is het een betrouwbaar materiaal dankzij het gebruiksgemak, de korte draagduur en de mooie resultaten. Opalescence Go is geschikt voor bijna alle patiënten zolang ze niet te veel restauraties in het front hebben, want die kunnen natuurlijk niet worden gebleekt.   We krijgen vaak positieve feedback van tevreden patiënten die een wittere en stralendere glimlach hebben gekregen dankzij een bleekbehandeling met Opalescence Go. De voorgevulde UltraFit™-lepels zijn verkrijgbaar als set van tien lepels voor de boven- en onderkaak (afb. 1). Daarna laten we de patiënten in onze praktijk zien hoe ze Opalescence Go zelf thuis moeten gebruiken:   1. Patiënten moeten eerst hun tanden poetsen. Daarna dragen ze de exclusieve UltraFit-lepels van Opalescence Go gedurende 60-90 minuten. 2. Na de instructies in onze praktijk kan de patiënt zelfstandig thuis gaan bleken; normaal gesproken één lepel per dag totdat de resultaten zijn bereikt. Gewoonlijk zijn 5-10 lepels genoeg. 3. Dankzij de PF-formule (kaliumnitraat en fluoride) is Opalescence-bleekgel heel mild. Overgevoeligheid komt maar heel zelden voor. Fluoridelakken of -gels tijdens en na de behandeling bieden dan uitkomst.   Als patiënten nog UltraFit-lepels overhouden nadat het gewenste bleekresultaat is bereikt, kunnen ze deze bewaren in de koelkast en later gebruiken voor een snelle opfrisbehandeling.   De Opalescence Go-bleekset bevat ook [OpalescenceTM Whitening Toothpaste](https://www.ultradentproducts.nl/products/categories/whitening/home-care/opalescence-whitening-toothpaste)dat kan helpen om de stralende gebitskleur langer te behouden. ![Opalescence Go_Before and after_NL](https://nl.ultradent.blog/hs-fs/hubfs/Opalescence%20Go_Before%20and%20after_NL.png?width=500&height=426&name=Opalescence%20Go_Before%20and%20after_NL.png)*Afb. 3: Voor en na de bleekbehandeling met Opalescence Go.*   Afb. 3 toont een 24-jarige mannelijke patiënt voor en na een bleekbehandeling met Opalescence Go. Na zeven dagen was een mooi resultaat bereikt. De patiënt was blij met zijn nieuwe, natuurlijke glimlach. De drie resterende lepels kan hij later gebruiken, indien nodig.   Het Opalescence-gebitsbleeksysteem is al tientallen jaren op de markt. Het is dan ook algemeen bekend bij patiënten en tandartsen.
